This is my latest project - remote assistance.

My aim is to be able to provide a service, not only to the people of Medway, but to the rest of Kent, England, and beyond. By using a well known internet protocol known by the abbreviation 'VNC' I can connect to a client's computer securely to deal with software and driver installation, therefore saving the client money that they'd otherwise pay as a callout charge.

The next few pages will guide you step-by-step how to:-

a) install and configure our program: TightVNC; and
b) Set up Port Forwarding on your router to allow the connection request to be forwarded to the correct computer on your network.
