Step 1 - Click HERE to download TightVNC v1.3.10 directly from the TightVNC

Click Run

Click Run again

Click Next

Read, then click Next

Leave the installation folder as it is and click Next

Untick TightVNC Viewer by clicking on the tick box once, then click Next

Leave the Start Menu folder name as it is. Click Next

Leave this as it is. Click Next

You're ready to install. Click Install

Click Finish. Now we move on to configuring.

Click Start > All Programs > TightVNC > Launch TightVNC Server

This is a Windows Firewall prompt. It may look different for you as I am running Windows 7. Click Allow access.

Chaange the Primary Password to 'Savage1', and the View-only password to 'Savage' both without quotes. Do not share this information with anybody else. Then click the 'Hooks' tab at the top.

Untick 'Poll foreground window' and tick 'Poll full screen', change to 1ms and click Apply. Do not click OK yet. Now jump to the 'Administration' tab.

Untick 'Enable built-in HTTP server' and change Connection priority to 'Disconnect existing connections'. Click Apply. Now you can click OK to close configuration window.

Now close this browser tab and proceed to step 3.
